Liège-Guillemins railway station

This railway station has been on my phtography bucket list for a long time. But finally I could checkmark this item, because I made a little trip to Belgium during the easter holiday. I visited Brussels, Mons, Antwerp and of course Liège.

One of my favourite architects, Santiago Calatrava, created this masterpiece. He is famous for his organic shaped buildings made of steel, glass and white concrete. The monumental arch of the railway station is about 200 metres long and 32 metres high.
